Tents have got so cheap of late shops will soon start giving them away free. When Gelert introduced the Vector into the range this year they set the RRP at £300. However throw in some cut throat camping discounters, bulk buying and a sprinkle of recession and you end up with it now being available for just £129.95!
The Vector 8 man tent is a great entry level tent for families and groups - its stand up height, with 2 x 4 man bedrooms at either end and a sewn in groundsheet which was unheard of last year at this price point. The waterproof rating is a respectable 2000mm which is fine for a weekend of bad weather. It also pitches outer first so you can get that up and then shelter if the heavens have opened when you arrive on the campsite!
