This 5 man tent is so popular it has its own fan club! One of Vango’s bestselling tents that combines a tunnel shaped bedroom with a sturdy dome shaped living space which uses angled poles to give more space. Nice features such as a skylight and curtains. (more info)

Coleman Coastline Deluxe 8 (RRP £499 / buy online from £399)

For bigger families the  8 man Coastline is a whopper of a tent! With four removable bedrooms you can adjust the interior to your liking and create more storage or living space if needed. A classic vis a vis tent with two 3 person bedrooms. Part of Outwell’s 2011 signature range, this tent is a great retro orange. By using  extended centre poles the living space feels large and airy.
